Before making its big breakthrough as a stylish piece of furniture, the waterbed had long been used in medical facilities. It was discovered that the even surface of a waterbed had an extremely positive healing effect on patients who needed to be kept as suspended as possible due to large wounds.
People fall asleep faster on a waterbed, lie more calmly, and also experience deeper sleep. Deeper and therefore less interrupted sleep is generally considered the best medicine and the best regeneration for our body cells.
BluTimes Upholstery Manufacturing
The latest expansion in BluTimes waterbed production was the establishment of an in-house upholstery production facility. Bed frames and backrests, customized to customer requirements, are available in a wide variety of fabrics for greater comfort and well-being around the BluTimes waterbed.

BluTimes Calming Fleece
Unique in the waterbed industry, BluTimes manufactures its own waterbed stabilizing fleece on its in-house fleece machine. This is based on years of experience in nonwoven production. The exact determination of raw materials and production parameters was carried out in collaboration with the Montanuniversität in Leoben. This provides the ideal conditions for long-lasting waterbed stabilization with consistent quality.
BluTimes water cores
The water jacket is filled by hand with the customer-specific calming agent, then fixed to the bottom foil and sealed using a high-frequency welding process. The advantage is obvious: maximum flexibility in terms of delivery times at short notice. BluTimes underscores this high
production quality with a 7-year warranty.
